National, December 21, 2012 The verdict is out in what was truly a sizzling finale episode of ‘The Hunt for the Kingfisher Calendar Girl 2013’ season 4 on NDTV Good Times – India’s premier lifestyle channel. After a series of complex tasks, elimination rounds, voting sessions and facing intense competition, Nevena Pejatovic, emerged as the face of this year’s hunt.
The show was a completely new experience for Nevena Pejatovic, who hails from Belgrade, Serbia. Expressing her excitement, Nevena said, “It is a dream come true for me and I am thrilled to be crowned the winner. I loved the entire experience of the talent hunt. Even though the competition was tough, I made a few close friends during the journey. Also, the contest made me a stronger individual. I would sincerely like to thank Kingfisher and NDTV Good Times for providing this life changing platform.”
This edition of the show saw Sid Mallya and former Kingfisher Calendar Girl Lisa Haydon mark their TV debuts by playing host and judges on the show. The presence of celebrity guests such as Atul Kasbekar, Milind Soman, Terrence Lewis, Sarah Jane Dias, and former Kingfisher Calendar girls Nargis Fakhri and Nathalia Kaur amongst others added to the glamour and charisma.
This season the show revolved around the theme “Global Fantasy”. Girls were styled and groomed to match the theme with high definition make up & accessories. Daily challenges such as the Mermaid task, Boot camp task, Elephant task, Cage task among others, along with the props used throughout the show all reflected this theme. What made this season all the more enthralling were the breathtaking and picturesque locations of Goa. The sultry models were assessed on the basis of grace, poise, beauty, attitude and their ability to woo the judges.
